MADRID, 23 Ago. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Turkish defender Cenk Özkacar has become a new Valencia player on Tuesday, on loan and with a purchase option, from Olympique de Lyon, as announced by the Valencian club in a statement.
“Valencia CF has reached an agreement with Olympique de Lyon for the signing of the footballer Cenk Özkacar on loan until June 30, 2023 with a purchase option,” reported the ‘ché’ entity.
Özkacar, 21, started his career playing for Bucaspor, Altinordu, Altay and Karacabey Belediyespor. In 2020 he joined Olympique Lyonnais and last year he played on loan at Belgian side OH Leuven. He is also a full international with Turkey.
From the Valencian club, they emphasize that Özkacar is “a left-handed central defender who is 1.90 meters tall and reinforces the team’s defensive line” and will help Gennaro Gattuso “consolidate Valencia’s identity and style of play”.
