Truce between Cádiz and Levante after the initial madness

Cádiz and Levante, two teams that live in the quiet zone of the classification, ended up signing a draw (2-2) at Ramón de Carranza after a meeting in which almost everything happened in the early stages. The Andalusians, who faced the shock after being eliminated in the Copa del Rey by Girona, linked their fourth day without losing (three draws and one wins), while the Valencians, who had suffered in the KO competition against Fuenlabrada, They failed to break their losing streak at home, as they have not won away since September 27, 2020 (four draws and four losses).

Cádiz and Levante gave us, possibly, the craziest half hour so far in the championship. During the first 30 minutes of the game there were continuous arrivals in the vicinity of both areas in the face of defenses that were easily overcome, and as a result of this came four goals, two for each side.

After a direct free kick that the visitor Clerc threw and which was answered by goalkeeper Ledesma, Cádiz was right on the first occasion available. Only four minutes had elapsed when Levante lost the ball. Negredo started the counterattack, gave the ball to Álex Fernández and he, after advancing meters, gave it to Alberto Perea, who inside the area beat Aitor after dribbling Miramón.

The 1-0 did not dislodge Levante, which in a seen and unseen turned the scoreboard. Thus, just four minutes later, a 'death pass' by De Frutos from the right wing enabled Roger so that '9' only had to push the ball to the back of the net.

And just three minutes later, this time after a foray to the left of Clerc and the center of the wing, again Roger, entering from behind, signed the 1-2.

The express comeback of Levante left, as expected, something touched to Cádiz, although Álvaro Cervera's team again struck the table before reaching half an hour into the meeting. A ball thrown by Álex Fernández in a corner kick found the head of Juan Cala, who, ahead of his rivals in the jump, surpassed Aitor.

With 2-2 both teams seemed to take a break until they reached the break, reaching the interval with a draw on the scoreboard.

After passing through the changing rooms, and without changes in both teams, the waters calmed down. The game resumed the script that initially seemed written, with a Levante with greater possession of the ball and a more crouched Cádiz and trying to surprise the counter.

It was Paco López's team that would have the first big chance in the second half through De Frutos, who after combining with Morales made Ledesma shine, who kicked the ball out (min. 52).

The game was balancing and both coaches, after game time, began to move the benches in search of breaking the tables. However, the entry to the field, among others, of offensive refreshment players such as locals Salvi and Iván Alejo and visitor Dani Gómez did not give the result intended by their technicians, so the 2-2 remained immovable until the whistle final.
