Kane’s situation takes a 180 degree turn. Last summer the English striker wanted to leave Tottenham, but the high expectations of his club meant that Manchester City could not pay the 200 million figure that the London club wanted and Kane had to stay one more season at Tottenham.
A year later, and according to The Athleticthe striker’s situation is totally different and now he would be thinking of extending his relationship with Tottenham. The English contract ends in 2024. The signings of Haaland and Julián Álvarez for City have closed the door on him and the renewal with Tottenham is far from ruled out.
This season has not been Kane’s best in front of goal, in which he has finished with 27 goals among all competitions, only 17 in the Premier. His situation at the club was not the best possible, but his possible renewal would make Tottenham once again have the best version of the English striker.
