Tottenham does not fail on a key day for the Champions

MADRID, 20 Mar. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Tottenham beat West Ham (3-1) this Sunday in a direct duel for the Champions League zone in the Premier classification, on matchday 30 that also left Leicester with victory against Brentford (2-1 ).

Antonio Conte’s side won the derby thanks to a brace from Son Heung-min and a Zouma own goal. The ‘Spurs’ took the lead on the scoreboard from early on to stay alive in the fight for fourth place.

West Ham, with the wear and tear of extra time against Sevilla in the Europa League, did not know how to react to the dominance of a Tottenham that has 51 points, three of that ‘Top 4’ although with one game more than Arsenal. The ‘Hammers’ remain with 48 points and two games more than their neighbor ‘Gunner’ who closes the ‘Champions’ zone.

In the other game of the day held this Sunday, Leicester, who still have to settle for the middle of the table, stopped (2-1) in a comfortable match the progression of a pending Brentford relegation zone.
