Tomeu Nadal: “Tenerife fit my expectations”

Tomeu Nadal Mesquida (Manacor, 1989) is free and hopes to resolve his future as soon as possible. Offers will not be lacking, but his wish is to sign for a team “whose project I am excited about and which is a serious club.” For this reason, given the alleged interest in Tenerife, he stressed that “it is a historic one and it would fit in with my claims.”

In statements to Cadena SER, the goalkeeper added that “I know the coaching staff as well and that is always important because we both know what each one can give”. On vacation trying to rest, the Spaniard admitted that the market “is moving little, but I hope it will be soon because I have a family and a move to do.”

The goalkeeper knows that Luis Miguel Ramis is on the bench with the blue and white team with whom he coincided with Albacete in the 2018-19 season. The sports management clings to the possible influence that the coach may have on the footballer, who was a key piece in the season of the Albaceans who were on the verge of promotion to the First Division.

Nadal had been in the last five seasons in La Mancha until last week he closed his cycle there. Before, he had trained in the Real Mallorca quarry and later went through Getafe B and Nàstic de Tarragona.

Tenerife is one of the several clubs that have been interested in his services, but for now nothing has been specified. Juan Carlos Cordero works to, first, try to free up a salary mass with the exits of Naranjo, Joselu or Alberto. From there, he could face with more guarantees the second incorporation for the 21-22 season.
