The American golfer Tiger Woods announced this Friday that he will reappear on the American PGA circuit next week, at the Genesis Invitational in Los Angeles, seven months after playing his last tournament, after a 2022 in which he could barely compete due to injuries. who suffered in a car accident in 2021.

The “Tiger”, champion of 15 “big ones”, will return to action on February 16 in his first “outing” outside of the “Grand Slam” since the Zozo Championship in 2020. “I am prepared to play a PGA Tour tournament next Next week, the Genesis Invitational,” he wrote on his Twitter account.

The Californian played only three tournaments last year: the Masters, the PGA Championship (where he retired) and the British (where he missed the cut and it is his last tournament since last July).
