The document clarifies the protocol to follow in the event of suspension of a meeting: “If due to exceptional circumstances of force majeure derived from the current pandemic situation the circumstance occurs that in application of the public regulations in force in a determined Autonomous Community or in a given population one or more of the Play Off matches for promotion to First Division could not be played on the scheduled date, it will be automatically postponed “.
The agreement establishes that in case of suspension of a match the match will be played in the nearest neutral field of First or Second: “The impossibility of holding the match in the stadium where it was originally planned, an alternative field in a territorial area where it is authorized to dispute. This alternative field must be the First or Second Division stadium closest to the city of the team that played at home. and where there is real availability to be able to dispute. The match must necessarily be played within 24 hours after the suspension of the first match. “
LaLiga clarifies that if a team does not have the minimum number of players available, the Competition Committee will decide: “If one of the teams cannot play any of the games scheduled for the playoff due to the impossibility of aligning a minimum number of players due to force majeure, this circumstance will be communicated to the Competition Committee, which will decide on the matter, either setting a new date if this is possible within the dates set for the playoff or on the result of the same

“The members of the Coordination Agreement Follow-up Commission have gathered, as a matter of urgency, and with the aim of providing maximum legal security to official professional competitions at the state level and within the framework of the coordination agreement, both parties agree that, if due to exceptional circumstances of force majeure derived from the current pandemic situation, the circumstance arises that in application of the public regulations in force in a specific Autonomous Community or in a specific population, one or more of the matches of the Play Off for promotion to the First Division on the scheduled date, it will be automatically postponed without the need for any agreement to be adopted by the Competition Committee and, both the LNFP and the clubs whose match has been suspended will raise the Committee of Competition within 12 hours immediately after knowledge of the impossibility of holding the match in the stadium where it was originally planned, an alternative field in a territorial area where it is authorized to be played. Said alternative field must be the First or Second Division stadium closest to the city of the team that played at home and where there is real availability to be played.
The competition committee, taking into account the information available and in case of disparity in criteria between the LNFP and the clubs or between them, will decide on the most suitable terrain.
The match must necessarily be played within 24 hours after the suspension of the first match.
When this circumstance occurs, the LNFP or any of the clubs that play other playoff matches may request the Competition Committee to postpone the other matches in order to ensure the same rest times between matches.
The Competition Committee, based on the available documentation, will decide what it deems pertinent.
