This is the classification of First and this is how it would be without the VAR: Matchday 11

Real Sociedad is the solo leader in the First Division after beating Celta and Real Madrid’s stumble against Osasuna (0-0). Barcelona fell to Rayo (1-0) and cost Koeman his place. Atlético also failed to score the three points after drawing against Levante at two at the Ciutat. Getafe is still bottom after letting the victory escape in the last minutes against Granada.

Day of a lot of work for the VAR and of many controversies. The first was in Alavés – Elche, a match in which it was canceled at the request of the VAR a goal to Carrillo when he was offside and when it was considered that the ball bounced off Lejeune did not qualify him. In Villamarín the entry of Alderete on Borja Iglesias and in Mallorca, the goal of Sevilla’s victory that Ocampos scored in the added one was annulled by a previous hand of Fernando. In Balaídos, Isak was awarded a goal that was previously badly annulled due to a non-existent offside. In Los Cármenes a hand from Arambarri was whistled, which was not decisive for the result since it failed, but it did determine that of the Ciutat de Levante. The hand of Lodi inside the area and advised by the VAR led Levante to maintain a point and avoid the red-and-white victory.
