At Mundo Deportivo we have had access to the League schedule for the 2022-2023 season, which will be marked by the World Cup in Qatar from November 21 to December 18. A calendar approved this past Monday by the RFEF Assembly, once there is an agreement with LaLiga and AFE regarding the dates; and that it is only pending to know the pairing draw.
It will be on Friday, August 12, when the league championship starts, completing that day on the 13th and 14th of the weekend. Just two days before the European Super Cup is played where Real Madrid will be against Eintracht Frankfurt. That August, 3 days of First and Second are planned in addition to the play offs of the Champions League, Europa League and Conference
In September, break for national teams
In September three days are played in the First Division (September 3, 10 and 17) before the last break for national teams from 19 to 17 of that month before the World Cup. There will be a day in the Second Division on September 25 and the first two days of the group stage of continental competitions (September 6-7-8 and September 13-14-15.
October will be a very intense month with six games in the First Division, one of them during the week. It will be the five weekends of the month in addition to October 19 with the first weekday. In addition there are two days of UEFA tournaments on 4-5-6 and 25-26-17 of that month. There are also five days in the Second Division.
In November the competition in Primar is interrupted
November kicks off with the last group day in Europe (1-2-3). There are two sessions planned in November. First on 5-6 and the next for Wednesday, November 9, corresponding to the fourteenth day, the last jde Liga in the First Division before the World Cup event. Although the competition does not end until Sunday 13.
For that day, the RFEF has set the date for the first Copa del Rey tie of the 2022-2023 season, where the four clubs from the Super Cup are exempt. A day later will be when the internationals will join their teams according to the FIFA rule that requires all players to be with their teams seven days before the start of the World Cup scheduled for November 21 and which runs until December 18. The year 2023 will start with the Cup round of 32 scheduled for January 3, 4 or 5. Four games are scheduled in the First Division for the weekend of 7-8 (day sixteen), 14-15 (seventeen), 21-22 (eighteen) and 28-29 (nineteen). Four days also in Second. The third weekend is reserved for the Spanish Super Cup (January 11-12 and 15), with the four teams competing in the tournament recovering their day on February 1. On Wednesday 25 are the round of 16 of the Cup.
European competitions return in February
The month of February has scheduled First and Second days for the four weekends. In addition, on Wednesday the 8th the first leg of the Cup semifinals will be played and on 14-15-16 and 21-22-23 of that month, the first direct elimination rounds of the club competition. In the case of the Champions League, it will be the two rounds of the round of 16.
March starts with the semi-final round on the 1st of that month. There are three days in the First Division (February 4-5, 11-12 and 18-19) before the first break for national teams in 2023 from Monday 20 to Wednesday where there will be a day in the Second Division (March 25-26) .
The Cup final is played on April 29
There are five First League games in April. This is the weekends from 1-2; 8-9, 15-16 and 22-23 in addition to Wednesday 26. The Copa del Rey final is scheduled for 29. The League in First concludes on Sunday June 4, three days before the Conference League final and seven of the Champions League. As soon as the Champions League final is over, the second interval of selections starts from Monday 12 to 20 of that month.
Just a week later, the Spanish Super Cup is scheduled to start on Wednesday, January 11, and the final will be played on January 15. April 29, 2023 is the date set for the Copa del Rey final, which next season will have seven qualifiers in addition to the final, which will be played again at the Estadio de la Cartuja. Six days a week
