For some five and for other six, but all the subscribers of the League will have to change the stands on the television to watch the games that are left at home for their team. Obviously, not being able to enjoy these shows having already paid the entrance fee deserves a compensation that, in one way or another, the clubs are offering.
Generally, all clubs are offering various avenues consisting of the cash refund of the amount by which the remaining matches are valued, a discount for the subscription for the next season that does not yet know how it will be played or in giving up the corresponding part in order to help the club in this economic crisis after the coronavirus. This is the situation of each case:
BARCELONA. In principle, they do not contemplate a direct refund for the value of the remaining games (Leganés, Athletic, Atlético, Espanyol and Osasuna), but compensation formulas are being studied for next season.
REAL MADRID. He values the six games he has left and that he will play at Alfredo Di Stéfano (Eibar, Valencia, Mallorca, Getafe, Alavés and Villarreal) at 25% of the subscription price. It offers the typical three options to its subscribers: return that money, a discount for next year's subscription or donate it to the club.
SEVILLE. Those of Lopetegui have six games left (Betis, Barcelona, Valladolid, Eibar, Mallorca and Valencia) against large teams and, therefore, they have the highest rating of their matches with 30%. This amount will be returned for those who want to renew it within two seasons, 2021-22, since the following is unknown, or use it in the club's official store. For those who give up the money and donate it to the club, they will receive € 30 in vouchers to spend on tickets or the official stores of the club, a discount for upcoming tickets and various benefits. The club expects that at least 70% of Sevilla fans will take advantage of the latter option.
REAL SOCIETY. Those from San Sebastián will return 20% (Osasuna, Real Madrid, Celta, Espanyol, Granada and Seville) of the subscription to those who already paid in full at the beginning of this season. The subscribers who paid it in installments no longer passed the April fee.
GETAFE. Ángel Torres gave an example of solidarity with his fans that gave him bad faces from clubs like Betis, who said he set a dangerous precedent. This year's subscribers will not pay the subscription for next season.
ATHLETIC. It only offers to receive the money (estimated at 20% for the matches against Valladolid, Alavés, Mallorca, Betis and Real Sociedad) in the form of a discount for next season's subscription. Anyway, whoever decides to give it up will have a private visit to the Metropolitan Wanda, a T-shirt and a scarf.
VALENCIA. They offer the three classic options: return the money, the discount for the next subscription or donate it to the club. Even so, they are more generous and those who ask for the return of the money will have a 10% discount on tickets for the next season, and those who take the other two routes 50%.
VILLARREAL. They have not yet communicated a decision, although the three typical pathways are being studied.
POMEGRANATE. The general director, Antonio Fernández Monterrubio, explained the plan, still to be confirmed: “The proportional part of the fertilizers will be returned. We have to be sensitive with our subscribers ”.
ATHLETIC. The remaining games (Atlético, Betis, Mallorca, Real Madrid, Seville and Leganés) are valued at 21.05%, although this percentage will be made over 70% of the annual fee, which is what the club that estimates invest in the first team. The options are the three of always and add the option to get a voucher to spend at the club (shops, tickets and others) with an additional 25%.
OSASUNA. The Pamplona club will pay its subscribers in matches and freeze the price for those who renew their membership cards and include the Club's two Half Days next year.
BETIS. They are Granada, Espanyol, Villarreal, Osasuna and Alavés the games they have left in Villamarín and these five value them at 20% that can be compensated with a money back, a discount for next year, in 'Dinero Betis' for spend in the club with an extra 20% or give it up, so they will receive a special shirt.
I RAISED. The club is still studying how to compensate its subscribers, but it has a particularity: 14,610 of the 22,500 did not pay for their pass when receiving it for their loyalty during the previous season.
ALAVÉS. The president, Fernández de Trocóniz, sent a letter to the subscribers and will return the proportional part of the subscription not enjoyed, but they are still studying ways to make it concrete.
VALLADOLID. Like most, he offered at one point to return the money or discount it for next season. Faced with the avalanche, says the club, fans who have offered to donate it, have also ended up opening that road.
EIBAR. He will return the proportional part of the remaining games (Athletic, Valencia, Osasuna, Leganés and Valladolid), but also Real Sociedad must be added, just before stopping the competition, which was already played behind closed doors. Another of the ways he studies is to convert that money into bonds to buy in local shops.
CELTIC. They return the proportional part of the six (Villarreal, Alavés, Barcelona, Betis, Atlético and Levante) and the subscribers can choose between the return, give up that money and have it go to the Celtic Foundation or exchange it for a virtual purse to spend on club products and services.
MAJORCA. He values his remaining five games (Barcelona, Leganés, Celta, Levante and Granada) at 25% and offers many options, such as writing his name on a Fan Wall in the stadium, discounts of 15% in stores, restaurants or experiences match days, VIP tickets, birthday celebrations at the Son Moix facilities …
LEGANESE. The cucumber ensemble will automatically renew its followers' subscriptions for free for the coming season. Anyway, if you prefer the return, you can contact the club and individually study each case.
SPANISH. The idea is to give away the membership card (not to be confused with the subscription) and a 20% compensation to spend at the club or six double tickets for the next season. If the subscriber is unemployed, he may also request a refund of the cash.
