They don’t play well against the Pelicans of New Orleans and lose 112–85.

The Brooklyn Nets and the Pelicans of New Orleans didn’t really play against each other on Tuesday night.

Seven of the Pels’ last 10 matches since being knocked out of the in-season event have been wins. They are on the rise.

On the opposite hand, the Nets are losing money because their season was ruined by a trip on the West Coast.

New York City’s record was 15–18, and this was very different than their 13–10 performance and feel in the second half of December, when things were better.

There had been a terrible loss for the Bucks of Milwaukee, a terrible game against the Washington Wizards, and just a couple in wins against the extremely bad Detroit Pistons.

Good basketball was very important to the Nets. They almost did it in their last game, yet they lost 124–108 by the Oklahoma City Thunder.

This was the Nets’ fourth quarter of primarily successful basketball, but the scores failed to demonstrate much progress.

They made more the three-pointer and free points than the Thunder, but the Thunder given up more mistakes. They were not able to make one of them.

The Nets could have won in the city of Orleans if they’d just kept going. But Brooklyn failed to stick with anything but another bad shooting game.

Them didn’t play well on defense, on the floor, at the rim, as well anywhere else. From the jump ball, it looks like the Nets are out of the game.

It might have been unexpected if they didn’t lose their fourth straight game. It was a big loss for the Brooklyn Nets when they lost to the New Orleans Pelicans 112-85. This game was tough for the Nets the whole time.

The Pelicans was better at playing defense as well. Cam Johnson was the sole Nets player that really did something useful. He got 17 points.

The Nets’ loss is the worst of the season so far. It shows a worrying trend within their play and makes people worry about the future of the team.

New York was lucky given that they were only 32–18 down after the initial quarter. That night, Cam Johnson was the just Nets player who made a difference.

He took a strong step out and hit a few three-pointers. He finished with 17 points, making 6 of 12 three-point shots. Johnson possibly felt better on Tuesday if he was cheering for the Pelicans.

The Pels have two top players whose work don’t take many threes, and they are known for not hitting.

They had thrown the fifth-fewest balls with length in the league before the game, which may have surprised Nets fans that watched.

Along with CJ McCollum, Brandon Ingram, Doc Jones, or Jonas Valančiūnas (a big guy who doesn’t shoot well), were all fired early.

In the second quarter, New Orleans dropped down for some reason. In fact, they gave the ball away eight times with the first half.

Before the game, Jacque Vaughn said that this was a sign of a good defense. That night, the Nets got two quick points for breaks, but they failed to score again.

Everything the Pelicans did that wasn’t Valančiūnas was flipped. If known as Lithuanian forward was playing in the pick-and-roll, the defenders didn’t have much aid.

New Orleans told Brooklyn’s biggest risks that they would hand over the buckets, and it worked. Finally, Cam Thomas joined Dinwdidie as a player who didn’t score. He went 0-of-11.

Even though some of Thomas’ shots went in on Tuesday, the Nets required more than a little push from the bench. After being beaten for 48 minutes, it was just another gut punch.
