The Spanish Women’s Soccer Team already knows who its first three rivals will be in the group stage of Euro 2022. The Spanish team will face Finland, Germany and Denmark in a complicated group stage, which will start on July 8. A tournament whose first matches will be played by the National Team on the following pitches:
· STADIUM MK, Buckinghamshire.
Located in the town of Denbigh, district of Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire. It is the home stadium of Milton Keynes Dons Football Club, a team that currently plays in Football Ligue One, the English third division.
It has a capacity for 30,500 spectators and will be the place where the Spanish Soccer Team debuts against Finland in the European Championship. The meeting will take place on July 8 at 6:00 p.m.
As a curiosity, this stadium was also the venue for the Rugby World Cup in 2015.
· BRENTFORD COMMUNITY STADIUM, Londres.
Located west of London. It is the new home of the Premier League team Brentford Football Club and the London Irish Rugby Club. It has a total capacity of 17,250 spectators.
It will be in this stadium where the Spanish National Team will play their last two games of the group stage. In the first of them they will face Germany on July 12 at 9:00 p.m. and in the last of this phase Jorge Vilda’s men will face Denmark on July 16 at 9:00 p.m.
With the aim of supporting the National Team from the first match, the Women Euro Experiences initiative offers fans exclusive flight rates to London from the main points in Spain (Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia), transfers to the stadiums to see the Selection and the possibility of buying tickets from the official UEFA website.
“We want all the fans to be able to support the National Team from the first game. These matchups are key to the future. For this reason, we are going to do everything possible so that the movement of fans to England is massive so that the Spanish players feel at home.” It states Martha Diaz, BEPLAYER Marketing Director.
