These are the new side effects detected in the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines

As the pace of vaccination progresses around the world, with Spain as one of the leading countries, the different organizations continue to study all the details about covid-19 to try to eradicate the virus. A complex task in which the aforementioned vaccines have a lot to do and where the effects they can leave on people are also studied. Thus, recent research has revealed that there is up to three new consequences that may arise from the use of Pfizer and Moderna treatments.

The European Medicines Agency (EMA, for its acronym in English) has come to the fore to inform in recent days of the vaccine news. An inoculations that are going at a good pace, but about which it is still about knowing everything possible to get the most out of the fight against the coronavirus.

Therefore, it has been reported that up to three new side effects could arise from the use of the Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna doses. Of course, making it clear that the association between these disorders and the vaccine continues to be investigated, the new names that will have to be fixed are erythema multiforme, glomerulonephritis and nephrotic syndrome.

Three possible side effects that join those already noted by most of the vaccinated population, such as fatiguepain at the injection site headache, chills or fever.

Erythema multiforme

This reported symptom in some cases consists of an allergic hypersensitivity reaction, with rounded skin lesions. It can also affect the mucous membranes of the internal cavities of the body as well.

Glomerulonephritis

Also detected in small cases, glomerulonephritis consists of inflammation of the small filters of the kidneys. That is, the organs responsible for removing excess fluid, electrolytes, and waste from the bloodstream are damaged.

Nephrotic syndrome

Lastly, the other reported effect is a kidney disorder that causes the kidneys to lose excessive protein in the urine.
