English fans will return to the stadiums from May 17. This has been revealed by Boris Johnson, whose plans have been published by the English press. Spectators will be able to return for the last day of the Premier League, the Eurocup, Wimbledon and the Rugby World Cup, among other sports.
The largest stadiums will be able to receive up to a total of 10,000 fans, such as Wembley or places like Old Trafford or the Emirates, for example, while the smallest will have a maximum capacity of 4,000. However, it has not yet been clarified which stages are part of one group or another.
Since it was decided to resume the competition without spectators last season, only a few clubs have been able to enjoy the support of their fans, and it has not been for long. This is the case of teams like Brighton or Chelsea, who were able to manage the return of between 2,000 and 4,000 fans per game during some games at Christmas time.
