The Italian Pro Recco achieved its third consecutive title

The Zodiac CN At. Barceloneta clinched the bronze medal this Saturday in the LEN Champions League, beating Greek Vouliagmeni (14-13) on penalties for third and fourth place, while Italian Pro Recco came out champion of Belgrade again.
The ‘Final 8’ was decided in the last turn of the night, when the champion of the last two editions swept the host, Novi Belgrad, by 11-14 that led from the first set. Meanwhile, the Spanish representative among the eight best in Europe avenged his defeat in the semifinals.
The penalty shootout denied Barceloneta a pass, but against Vouliagmeni it left a good taste in the mouth of that bronze, in a tremendous and even fight where the Zodiac CNAB brought out its most choral version, rowing until the end to get on the podium.
