MADRID, 8 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Spanish Naia Laso, 14 years old, achieved a historic fifth position this Sunday in the World Championship held in Ostia (Italy), the most important competition that grants the most qualifying points for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

The skater Bermeo was not satisfied with the pass to the final that she achieved on Saturday and made a place for herself among the best, in an unprecedented result for Spain in this sport.

Laso began by nailing her first round with a score of 86.25 points to place third, then failing in the second and third rounds. The best result in the history of a Spanish skater in a World Cup and a pre-Olympic competition was her fifth place.
