The young Australian spherist Torrie Lewis, current runner-up of the sub-20 world of 200 meters, will compete on February 28 at the Madrid meeting, which will be played at the Gallur Municipal Center and will close the World Athletics Indoor Tour, the best covered track circuit.
The 20-year-old athlete was in the last Olympic Games in Paris, where it ran the 200 meters and the 4×100 relay, and weeks later it was proclaimed runner-up of the sub-20 world in Lima with a brand of 22.28 seconds.
In this 2025, Lewis has already run in the European track of track covered with a national rig of 60 meters in Belgrade, about 7.14 seconds that place it in the ‘Top 10’ of the year of the distance in which he will compete in Gallur.
