The XXVI edition of the LaLiga Promises International Tournament, the Under-12 category tournament, kicked off this Tuesday in the Gran Canaria town of Maspalomas with great equality between the 14 participating teams and with Olympique Marseille, Valencia, Real Madrid and Sevilla as leaders of their respective groups.
Thus, in A, the team from Marseille is the only one that slips between the dominance of the LaLiga Santander and LaLiga SmartBank clubs, although it is tied on points with FC Barcelona after defeating UD Las Palmas 2-1 and drawing against a goal with Betis. For their part, the Barça team, always one of the favourites, began with a goalless draw against the Verdiblancos and a 1-0 victory against the hosts.
In B, the first classified is Valencia, although none of the teams won a game since the ‘ché’ drew against Juventus (1-1) and Atlético de Madrid (2-2), while in C , Real Madrid, current champion, and the German Borussia Dortmund will play for first place this Wednesday after winning their respective games against Tenerife (4-0 and 3-2).
Finally, in D, Sevilla is the leading team after making a forceful debut against Villarreal (3-0) and running into English Liverpool (1-1), although they are level on points with RCD Espanyol, who he was able to beat the ‘reds’ (1-0) and drew goalless with the Castellón team.
