The Volleyball King’s Cup will be held in Zaragoza 15 years later

The fiftieth edition of the Copa del Rey Volleyball will be held from February 20 to 23, 2025 at the CDM Siglo XXI in Zaragoza, returning to the city tomorrow 15 years after the last edition it hosted in 2010, according to the Royal Federation. Spanish Boleibol (RFEVB).

The Aragonese capital will once again host the KO tournament of the highest national category fifteen years after the last occasion. The first title of 2025 for the Men’s Honor Division will be contested by the eight best teams from the first round of the Men’s Super League: CV Guaguas (which defends the win achieved in Leganés last February), Conectabalear CV Manacor, UPV Léleman Conqueridor, Grupo Herce Soria Volleyball, CV Melilla, Unicaja Costa de Almería, Pamesa Teruel Volleyball and Cisneros Alter Tenerife.

The CDM Siglo XXI in Zaragoza, which was already the venue in 2010 and now hosts the matches of the Zaragoza Volleyball Club, will be decorated again to host the Copa del Rey from February 20 to 23, 2025. The Government of Aragon and the Zaragoza City Council collaborate with the organization of the RFEVB in a historic tournament to celebrate its 50th edition.

The tournament will begin on Thursday, February 20, with the first two quarterfinal matches, and will close this tie on Friday, the 21st. On Saturday, the 22nd, the semifinals will be played, which will make up the grand final on Sunday the 23rd.

The last cup competition in Zaragoza dates back to 2010 when Unicaja Almería was proclaimed champion against the host team Multicaja Fábregas Sport after winning the final that put the culmination of four intense days of competition in the CDM Siglo XXI.
