The two calls from Marta Chávarri to Isabelle Junot moments before she died: “What would have happened if…”

Marta Chavarri He died at dawn on Friday, July 21, at the age of 62 due to natural causes. Her housekeeper would have found her and when the emergency services arrived they couldn’t do anything for her life. In June she became a grandmother thanks to her only son, Alvaro Falcoand his daughter-in-law, Isabelle Junot.

The woman who was the wife of Fernando Falcó and Alberto Cortina would have spoken with his son’s wife moments before he died, by phone: “The day of the burial my attention was drawn to his son being whole and his wife more distressed. The last two calls What Marta did was to her son’s wife, her daughter-in-law”, explained the journalist Monika Vergara this Sunday on Telecinco.

“He explained to her that he was feeling bad. Marta tried to downplay it: ‘Don’t worry’. On the second call she tells him that she is feeling worse and then calls the ambulance.” In this sense, the journalist wonders: “What would have happened if she had sent the ambulance on the first call.”

Álvaro Falcó was orphaned of mother and father, since Fernando FalcoTamara’s uncle, passed away in November 2020. Chávarri and Fernando were married in 1982 and separated about seven years later after the controversial and high-profile photographs of Marta without underwear with Cortinawho was then married to Alicia Koplowitz.

The story of Marta Chávarri is that of a woman of overwhelming beauty who, however, had no luck in love; but she also represented, unfortunately for her, the icon of a time, between the late 80s and the 90s, when she starred in one of those scandals that transcended the social chronicle and was the meat not only of covers of gossip magazines or Interview Rather, it flooded the economic media and all the newspapers: jet set, aristocracy, financial battles, blackmail, infidelity and lurid images mixed to build around Marta Chávarri what for her was a horror film from which she never managed to recover. Since then, she decided to stay away from the media spotlight. In April of last year, she was the beaming godmother to her son at her wedding to Isabelle Junot.

For the younger generations, the deceased was the mother of Álvaro Falcó, the daughter-in-law of Isabelle Junot, who had just given her one of the joys of her life by making her a grandmother.
