The ‘Toto’ Salvio runs over his ex-wife and flees

MADRID, 14 Apr. (SportsFinding) –

The Boca Juniors player Eduardo ‘Toto’ Salvio fled at dawn this Thursday after running over his ex-wife with the car after an argument in Buenos Aires, as confirmed by the police after the complaint by Magalí Agavena, mother of his two children.

“Salvio moved forward with the intention of leaving the place and hit Aravena in his right leg with the front wheels. The woman fell to the floor. A situation that was used by the footballer to turn back and leave the place,” a statement from the police that collects the newspaper ‘La Nación’.

The 31-year-old former Atlético de Madrid player has been denounced for “injuries in the context of gender violence”, as confirmed by his lawyer to the ‘newspaper Olé’, where he explains that Salvio will appear in the next few hours at the Prosecutor’s Office to offer his version of events.

“He goes with a witness and several pieces of evidence that prove his innocence,” said the lawyer, aware of the injury report presented by Magalí Aravena, who ended last morning being treated at the Argerich hospital in the Buenos Aires capital.

The incident has been recorded by several security cameras in the area, where you can see how Salvio – who was in the car accompanied by another woman – reverses his vehicle with his ex-partner holding on to the passenger window. Seconds later another person appears who takes Aravena after the discussion.
