The Texans get a “A-” for Week 9 thanks to C.J. Stroud, while the Seahawks obtain a “F” for their embarrassing loss to the Baltimore Ravens.

The last six seconds of the game were the craziest of the season, as C.J. Stroud threw a touchdown pass in just six minutes left to secure the win for Houston over Tampa Bay 39–37.

A look back at what happened in the NFL on Sunday: the Baltimore Ravens beat the Seattle Seahawks easily, CJ Stroud shone in a thrilling Houston Texans win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and the Green Bay Packers ended their losing streak in a win over the Rams of Los Angeles.

It’s now 7-2 for the Ravens after beating the Seahawks all the way. Seattle’s record fell to 6-3 after they lost to Baltimore 37–3. It took 515 yards for the Ravens, with 298 on the ground, and 151 for the Seahawks.

Kyle Van Noy possessed two of his team’s four sacks as well as a forced fumble. Geno Stone had the NFL’s sixth interception for the season, which is the most in the league.

That would be the Buccaneers-Texans game if you want to know what the most exciting game of the week was.

That’s 13 out of 28 for 157 yards for Geno Smith, and Ken Walker ran nine times for only 16 yards. The Seahawks scored their only point in the game on DK Metcalf’s one catch, which went 50 yards.

Undrafted rookie Keaton Mitchell led the team with 138 yards on nine runs. He had one catch for nine yards on both offensive plays this season. He scored with a run of 40 yards.

Gus Edwards ran five times for 52 yards and scored two scores. Mark Andrews caught nine balls for 80 yards, and Lamar Jackson ran 10 times for 60 yards. Jackson made 21 of 26 passes over 187 yards.

In the first game of Week 9 in the NFL season, the Pittsburgh Steelers beat the Tennessee Titans after coming back from behind.

Stroud said, “His job was to turn the corner.” This time, the Texans win. That drive was really something.”

The Kansas City Chiefs and the Miami Dolphins played their first regular-season game within Frankfurt, Germany, on Sunday morning. The Chiefs got out to a 21-point edge and held on to win by seven points.

Later, Vikings quarterback Joshua Dobbs made his start after rookie Jaren Hall fell out early. The Ravens’ RasGus Edwards and the Texans’ QBC also didn’t play. J. Stroud led their teams to victories, and Deshaun Watson came back while the Browns’ defense shut out the other team.

It was a crazy back-and-forth game, but Stroud fired for five scores and 470 yards, which is a rookie record. That helped the Texans beat the Buccaneers 39–37.

In the 46th second, Baker Mayfield threw a score from 14 yards out to Cade Otton to put the Buccaneers ahead.

It was the Texans (4-4) who drove down the field and scored with six seconds left. Stroud found Tank Dell within the end zone to give the Texans the lead.

Since kicker Kaʻimi Fairbairn was hurt in the thigh, Stroud decided to go for the two-point conversion instead of trying to make it. On the last play, the Buccaneers lost a fumble, which gave Houston the win.

It wasn’t until Stroud hit Dell again for the final touchdown that the Texans were able to pull off the come-from-behind win. Dell had 114 yards receiving.

“That link and rapport that Tank as well as C.J. have is real,” DeMeco Ryans, the teacher, said. You can tell when they’re not on the field because they really bond on it. It’s fun to see them work together.

“There’s no question about it, it’s a terrible loss,” said Tampa Bay boss Todd Bowles. “We need to eat it. We all feel the exact same way, but I feel it the most.

I’ve been teaching for a long time, and I haven’t been a part of many situations where things went both ways like that.
