A decade has passed since the death of manolo escobarbut his name is back in the news after the testimony of Julian Montiel Penaa 52-year-old Mallorcan who claims to be the singer’s biological son.
Montiel first told his story on his Facebook profile: “My father is actually my stepfather and, after investigating and gathering evidence – and even a direct witness to the relationship – I found out that my real biological father was Manolo Escobar.”
Now, he has given his version between tears in socialite: “From a very young age my mother played me songs by Manolo Escobar… she was in love with him”. Her mother told her that “they had met in the dressing room” but she “said to me ‘don’t talk about this matter again’ because that happened a long time ago, before you were born.”
A few years ago a boy approached him “telling me that I look like Manolo Escobar” and those doubts made him investigate. It was then that the supposed son of the artist sent a message to Vanessadaughter of the interpreter of My car: “I wrote to him on Instagram and he blocked me. It seems that he gave instructions to the other relatives because they ignored me.”
After this, he stated “publicly on Facebook that I wanted to know who my father is, I did not want any money, just to know if I am the son of Manolo Escobar.” His story is already in the hands of his lawyer, Fernando Osunawho has assured that they are going to file a lawsuit in court so that he can get some DNA tests done and find out whether or not he is the son of the great artist.
