The Spanish 4×100 mixed paralympic relay, world runner-up

MADRID, 16 Jun. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Spanish 4×100 mixed paralympic relay was proclaimed runner-up in the world this Thursday at the World Championship that is being held in Madeira (Portugal).

Íñigo Llopis, Anastasiya Dmytriv, José Antonio Mari and Sarai Gascón awarded, in the last race of the day, the nineteenth medal for the Spanish Paralympic team in the World Cup.

In a tremendously close test, the Spanish had a great fight with the Australians, Dutch, Italians and Brazilians to share the podium positions.

First it was Llopis who threw himself on his back, and later Dmytriv (breaststroke) and José Antonio (butterfly) arrived, to hand over the final witness to Sarai Gascón, who in freestyle was the one who ended up certifying a silver medal that tasted like gold.
