Valencia’s second coach, Patri Moreno, had given positive In a new detection test for covid-19 after the contagions of José Bordalás himself and Omar Alderete were revealed on Saturday before the clash against Elche, as revealed this Monday by the newspaper AS.
Moreno was the in charge of directing the team in the regional duel although at first he was about to not sit on the bench. The first test he was subjected to (an antigen test) was positive but the second did not endorse that result. The doubts in the results made that on Sunday he underwent another test that has finally confirmed the positive.
With both coaches confined and isolated, the physical trainer remains active Javier Vidal, key piece in the technical bodies of Bordalás, and Nacho gonzalez, assistant coach. Both would be in charge of directing the team in the Cup in the Arenteiro field and possibly in the derby against Levante.
The Valencian club has submitted this Monday the rest of the squad to new tests but he has not yet given official data of the tests, something he could do in the next few hours.
