The Circuit Ricardo Tormo presented this Thursday its provisional calendar for 2025, where a total of 18 racing weekends will be held and which will coexist with the process of reconstruction of the accesses and parking of the Cheste facilities destroyed at the end of last year. month of October by DANA, as reported by the Generalitat Valenciana.
“The work will focus on returning to the Circuit the ample parking spaces and the four operational accesses to facilitate the arrival and departure of fans. At the same time, the first part of the season will take place, which will open on January 12 with the Duathlon. of the Circuit organized by the Triatló Federation of the Valencian Community”, announced the institutional portal of the Valencian Community in a statement.
It will not be until February when the first motorsports races will be held: the Winter Series, from February 14 to 16, and the Porsche Sprint Challenge, from February 20 to 22. The historic vehicles will star in the Racing Legends on March 1 and 2, a week before the celebration of the only Spanish event of the Fun Cup.
On April 12 and 13, “endless activities” for the whole family will come to the paddock of the Ricardo Tormo Circuit for the Valencia NASCAR Fest, an event with all the flavor of American racing. The spring activity will be completed with the Saxo Cup, the Spanish Superbike Championship and the Volrace.
In the month of June, two of the main novelties of the year will arrive: the best passenger cars on the international scene will meet in Valencia in the TCR Series on June 15, just two weeks before the return to the Ferrari Challenge Circuit.
The Portuguese Supercars will precede the return of the best supercars in the world to the Circuit with the GT World Challenge, which, together with Volrace, will once again hold the penultimate event on its calendar on September 20 and 21.
On November 14, 15 and 16, the most important event on the annual calendar of the Circuit Ricardo Tormo will arrive, the Gran Premio Motul de la Comunitat Valenciana, which “will bring together nearly 100,000 fans to complete the year of recovery after the DANA of the month of October that devastated a good part of the province of Valencia”.
“The Grand Prix activities will be extended both at the Cheste facilities and in the city of Valencia the days before the event and a week later the Circuit will close the international motorcycling calendar with the last round of the FIM JuniorGP,” the statement concluded.
