The RFET extends its sponsorship agreement with HEAD

MADRID, 2 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Royal Spanish Tennis Federation (RFET) has signed this Thursday a new sponsorship contract with the Austrian brand specialized in racquet sports HEAD, by which it will be technical sponsor and official brand in all its matches, for the next few years, according to a release.

“This agreement signed by the president of the RFET, Miguel Díaz Román; and the commercial director of HEAD Spain, Jochen Schirmer; adds to a relationship that began in 2018 and states that all tournaments organized by the highest tennis body in Spain will count with HEAD equipment of the highest quality, both in the Davis Cup and Billie Jean King Cup, as well as in absolute and youth Spanish championships,” the entity reported.

Thus, as the main technical sponsor and official brand of the RFET, HEAD will offer balls, rackets, bags, strings, grips and other accessories, in addition to a stringing service in Spanish tournaments.

Miguel Díaz Román was “happy” to “extend this alliance with HEAD, one of the most recognized multinational brands in the sector” for its “highest quality equipment.” “The contribution of large companies is a key point in our strategy. Having the support of HEAD encourages us to promote tennis and other racquet sports,” he said.

For their part, HEAD Spain sees “a pride” in continuing to support the RFET, “an emblematic institution that works tirelessly to contribute to the development of tennis.” “The extension of the agreement represents a great opportunity as it brings us closer to tennis players of all levels and helps us continue to showcase our extensive product portfolio,” commented Jochen Schirmer.
