The RFEF will deliver sports clothing to migrants from the Canary Islands

MADRID, 1 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) –

This Tuesday, the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) will deliver sports clothing to migrants who are in the Canary Islands, after arriving on the islands in recent weeks.

According to the federative body, the objective of the initiative is to “collaborate with the different organizations that are working to care for these people,” who are in a situation of maximum vulnerability.

The donation, organized by the Department of Equality, Social Responsibility and Sustainability of the RFEF, will be made by the president of the Inter-island Football Federation of Las Palmas, José Juan Arencibia; and by the president of the Inter-island Football Federation of Tenerife and vice-president of the RFEF, Alejandro Morales Mansito, to the organization Paz desde el Deporte, in collaboration with UNHCR.
