For this reason, Malaga wanted to join the acts of homage that, in his memory, are being held in Fuengirola, the hometown of the remembered genius. For this, he wanted the captain, David Lombán, to wear a bracelet with Juanito’s name and his lifelong number ‘7’ number in the match that was played this Saturday in Montilivi against Girona. But as reported by the club through its official channels, this has not been possible due to the imperative of official regulations.

It could not be carried out due to the current regulations of the competition. In these difficult sports moments, Juanito is the best example of how to overcome adversity. His spirit will always be linked to Málaga”.
