The Real Madrid Foundation announced this Thursday that it has renewed its collaboration agreement in Kenya with the Sananda Foundation and through which young people in situations of vulnerability and social exclusion are served in the town of Kapsabet.
Florentino Pérez, president of Real Madrid, and Jesús Ducay, president of the Sananda Foundation, signed at Real Madrid City the renewal of the collaboration agreement for the Kapsabet socio-sports school, which is managed with the support of the Franciscan Sisters of the Immaculate Conception. .
As reported this Thursday by the Real Madrid Foundation, the alliance, which is renewed for the fifth consecutive year, has already served more than 250 minors between 5 and 15 years old, preparing them for their integration into society through sport.
The socio-sports school focuses on caring for children in situations of vulnerability and social exclusion in an area seriously affected by various problems such as HIV, unemployment, lack of schooling, drugs, early marriage, teenage pregnancies or crime. .
Through education in the values of sport, such as motivation for effort, teamwork or respect for the environment, beneficiaries receive comprehensive training. In addition, they have psychosocial support, health care and nutritional support for minors with the support of the Sananda Foundation and the Franciscan Sisters of the Immaculate.
