Basaksehir President Goksel Gumusdag has stated that he has not received any proposals in Turkey for Irfan Can Kahveci, but that Sevilla presented an offer for the Turkish international. Today the Spanish club has stopped having interest in the player.
Sevilla's scouts have been watching Irfan, 25, since January 2019. In fact, last summer, the Seville club intended to present a proposal to Basaksehir for the Turkish international, but changed his mind due to the irregular performance of the player.
The Andalusian club decided to keep Kahveci under observation, as well as the Trabzonspor goalkeeper, Ugurcan Cakir, for whom no offer has been made, but who shares a place on Monchi's agenda with his compatriot.
Sevilla have reinforced their midfield, which was somewhat lame after the farewell of Ever Banega, with the return of Rakitic and the signing of Oscar Rodríguez, which is why Kahveci has been dropped from the club's pretended list.
