The Plaza 3×3 CaixaBank circuit lands this Saturday, September 10, in Santander, whose emblematic Plaza Porticada will host a new appointment of the event, after its recent visit to A Coruña, with 252 players registered in 67 teams of all categories, according to a statement of the Spanish Basketball Federation (FEB).
This stop on the circuit, which previously passed through Melilla, Madrid, Malaga, Palma, Pamplona and A Coruña, will start at approximately 9:30 a.m. and will last until mid-afternoon, when after the dispute over the competitions, the award ceremony will be held. trophies to the winners.
As usual in all the stops on the circuit, the competition will be combined with contests, on a day in which the historic former player Fernando Romay will act as FEB Ambassador. It will have multiple tracks, among which the CaixaBank Track will stand out, where the men’s finals will be played, and the Universe Women’s Track, which will host the women’s finals.
In addition to Romay, the event will be attended by Felipe Pérez Manso, Councilor for Innovation, Contracting and Sports of the Santander City Council; Celia Toro, commercial director of CaixaBank in Cantabria and Asturias; and José Luis Teja, president of the Cantabrian Basketball Federation.
This seventh stop on the circuit has the support of the Santander City Council and the collaboration of the Galician Basketball Federation, as well as the participation of a team of volunteers attached to the FEB-CaixaBank Volunteer Program.
