The ‘Playoff’ for the Endesa League title will begin on May 24 and will last a maximum of one month

The ACB has presented this Tuesday the calendar of the ‘Playoff’ for the title of the Endesa League 2021-2022, in which the first eight classified will try to be champions of the maximum Spanish competition in a phase that will begin on May 24 and that could run until June 24.

As indicated by the association, their clubs have reached an agreement on the dates on which the title will be decided this season. It will be played in a window that will begin on May 24 and will last a maximum of one month, until June 24.

The quarterfinals, which are played to the best of three games, will take place between Tuesday 24 and Tuesday 31 May in the event of a hypothetical third game in any of the qualifiers. The semifinals, already the best of five games, will be played between June 2 and 12 if the last duel is reached, while the dates of the final will fluctuate depending on how long the semifinals last. In this sense, the earliest start date would be June 12 and the latest June 15.

Of the eight teams that will participate, six, Barça, Real Madrid, Valencia Basket, Joventut Badalona, ​​Lenovo Tenerife and Baxi Manresa have already qualified, and the last two places will be played in the last three days between Bitci Baskonia, UCAM Murcia, Gran Canaria, Surne Bilbao Basket and Río Breogán.
