The ‘streaming’ platform Footters will broadcast live the play-offs for promotion to Second A and Second B, reported this Wednesday the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) through a statement.
The promotion playoffs will be held this summer, after the RFEF ends the competitions in their regular format due to the serious health crisis caused by the coronavirus.
Soccer fans, especially those of the 88 participating teams, 16 of Second B and 72 of Third, they will be able to enjoy matches through Footters.
The 14 games of the play-off promotion to Second Division A and the 54 of the play-off promotion to Second Division B they will be held behind closed doors following the instructions of the health authorities, as confirmed by the RFEF.
The candidates for promotion to Second Division A have met this Wednesday and have approved that the qualifying rounds will be played entirely in the Region of Murcia from July 18 to 26.
As reported by the journalist of COPE, Isaac Fouto, Footters has acquired the rights exclusively for 500,000 euros. Subtracting production costs, each club from the 16 that will participate in the express play-off to Segunda A they will correspond to about 26,000 euros. The hotels and the stay will be borne by each team. In addition, the players and the other members of the clubs will pass Covid-19 test before every game and the draw will be held on Monday June 8.
