The Ciudad Deportiva de A Madroa brought together more than 500 players and members of coaching staff this weekend at the fourth stop of the 2022/23 LaLiga Genuine Santander calendar.
For the second time and coinciding with the centenary of its club, RC Celta has hosted LaLiga Genuine Santander, an integrating and pioneering competition in the world, launched by LaLiga, through its Foundation, made up of teams of people with intellectual disabilities.
After the inauguration on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, the sporting events that kicked off the penultimate competition phase of the season took place. In these two days, the A Madroa facilities have hosted more than 30 matches divided into three game slots.
After these matches, in the sports classification, RCD Espanyol has been the leader of the Sports Group with 25 points, and Córdoba CF as the first of the Compañerismo Group with 20 points. Regarding the Fair Play classification, Fundación Celta Integra is at the head of its group, Sportsmanship, with 332 points; while Fundación Real Madrid is in first position in the Compañerismo Group with 351 points.
The medals were given by Carlos Mouriño, president of RC Celta; Clemente Villaverde, president of the LaLiga FOUNDATION; Germán Arteta, director of the RC Celta Foundation, and Olga de la Fuente, director of the LaLiga FOUNDATION.
