Canaria continues to work for equality in sport. The Foundation of CD Tenerife has produced an audiovisual documentary in which eleven women tell the story of CD Tenerife through their experiences and their links with the entity, which this year 2022 celebrates its Centenary.
The documentary, called “The Other Eleven”, will be screened this Wednesday at the Tenerife Espacio de las Artes (TEA), with the presence of the protagonists and a representation of the sport of the island.
Framed within the calendar of events to commemorate the hundred years of history of Club Deportivo Tenerife, these eleven women who have a close relationship with the team become the protagonists of “The Other Eleven” in which their voices build important team moments.
Enter the protagonists meet Miguelina Martinthe oldest member of CD Tenerife; Samantha Tormothe club’s first grassroots soccer coach; Maria del Carmen Saavedrafirst female director of CD Tenerife; Carmen Nieves Perez, coordinator of the CD Tenerife base area; Y Mayte Castrojournalist who recounts the history of the club through the press.
