The Denver team wins away and puts the Lakers 3-0
MADRID, 21 May. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Denver Nuggets won this Sunday by 108-119 in their visit to the Los Angeles Lakers for the third game of the final of the Western Conference of the NBA, guided again by the Canadian guard Jamal Murray, author of 37 points, and by the center Serbian Nikola Jokic, who scored 24 points and distributed eight assists.
After having scored the two initial victories of this tie in their pavilion, the Denver team traveled to the Los Angeles city with the purpose of giving another blow to the table and they achieved it thanks to the two top stars of their squad. Murray stood out again from short and medium distance, with Jokic shining under the boards.
Also outstanding was the work of Michael Porter Jr. on defense, capturing nine of his 10 total rebounds there. All this was combined in favor of some Nuggets who are already stroking their first NBA Finals, since it is enough for them to win a fourth game to seal their ticket to that last instance for the ring of champions.
Opposite, some Lakers will try to avoid it where Anthony Davis seems the most inspired at the moment. Last morning, the starting center for the purple and gold team scored 28 points and grabbed 18 rebounds. For his part, veteran LeBron James scored 23 points and had 12 assists, but the Lakers didn’t take advantage of their increased bench turnover.
