He has been working on it for almost two years and finally next Saturday, February 24, his big dream is going to come true: Gloria Camila Ortega He will present his new fashion brand, which he has named Bakkus, to his friends, close family and the media. And he will do it coinciding with the celebration of his 28th birthday. He meets them three days before, on the 21st. But on Saturday he is preparing a great party that he is already organizing with great enthusiasm at the Oasiz Shopping Center in Torrejón de Ardoz (Madrid), where he will organize a grand event that will feature with a parade and a subsequent intimate meal in which only his loved ones will be present, and where he will have the support of his father. Gloria Camila is still very close to José Ortega Canoand also her boyfriend, David GarcÃawith whom he has a rather discreet relationship.
Just a few weeks ago, Rocío Carrasco's sister spoke like this about her brand during the presentation of the posters for the San Isidro 2024 Fair in Plaza de las Ventas: “Releasing the spring-summer collection is something that makes me very excited. It's about a job I did for my TFM, when I got my Master's in Digital Marketing, and now, almost three years later, I can finally get it.” In fact, we know that she is not only the firm's 'Project Manager', but that she herself has designed garments for Bakkus along with two other designers, Elisa Vázquez and Elena Elorriaga. Let us remember that Gloria Camila has made her first steps in acting, in the TVE series Dos Vidasand has not left his law studies.
But now Gloria has put her energy into this project, especially after the recent professional setback she suffered when she was fired from Public Mirrorwhose set he had been going to since September 2023. Perhaps this is the excuse for moving away from television, where he has participated in many formats, from Survivors o Come dine with me: Gourmet editiona To see you againo Nightmare in Paradiseand others like It's already eight o Is summer.
The new projects keep her further away from the spotlight and focused on her great passion. In fact, the love (and entrepreneurship) for the world of fashion is not a new facet for Gloria. Her first foray into this business started in 2015, when she decided to open a clothing store in Seville that she barely lasted with the blinds up for a few months. She even made an attempt to refloat it, but in the end she couldn't get it out. At the beginning of 2023, she surprised us again with another textile initiative: the opening of 'Glo Store', an ephemeral pop-up – it lasted from Friday, January 20 to Sunday, the 22nd – that she herself advertised on her networks and that served to sell clothes he had in stock. “So you can see, try and buy all my clothes and many more garments, of all sizes, styles, all colors and much more,” she announced on her social networks. Now her bet with Bakkus is much more ambitious and firm. Let's hope that she has more luck than on previous occasions and that this time she 'doesn't miss a beat' in her new business adventure.
