The networks explode and condemn Marta Peñate’s leadership against Sofía Suescun in ‘Supervivientes’

This Sunday, Supervivientes: All Stars had its most special date: the grand final of this historic edition, which this year was held, for the first time, in the Cayos Cochinos. Thus, the episode started with Sofía Suescun leading the leader’s test; meanwhile, Alejandro Nieto, Marta Peñate and Jorge Pérez were playing for expulsion. However, after the one who had a fleeting romance with Alba Carrillo was defeated, Tony Spina’s girlfriend eliminated Sofía, who was proclaimed third finalist of the contest, and shortly after, the Canarian won the coveted 50,000 euros of the prize against the Andalusian contestant.

It is worth remembering that Alejandro Nieto was the first of the finalists to make it directly into the final vote, as he led the tests for ‘La Gloria de Poseidón’ and ‘Las puertas del cielo’. Thus, Marta Peñate faced a tough televote against Suescun, her greatest enemy during the adventure in Honduras, and she prevailed against her to make it into the final, which she would end up winning shortly after.

It is true that Kiko Jiménez’s girlfriend won the bronze medal and was far from achieving the coveted triple – since she won Gran Hermano 2016 and Supervivientes 2018 – despite having been the contestant who has been the leader the most times in this edition and the one who has caught the most fish.

That’s why the audience was outraged on social media by Marta Peñate’s leadership, especially because of her poor survival skills. What’s more, the most read comments on social media were of “blackout” and “boycott” against the organization of the format. Some even spoke of a “fix” in the face of the Canary Islander’s leadership over the Pamplona native.
