The most colorful ‘rentrée’ of Doña Letizia: flowers and high heels in Lleida

The Queen He has resumed his official agenda this Tuesday after his family and private vacations. Letizia has attended the Cancer Tour conference, organized by the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC), of which she is honorary president, and has rescued one of her happiest and most flowery outfits to liven up the day.

Letizia arrived this afternoon at the CaixaForum in Lleida wearing a flowing dress with midi length and sleeves, a V-neckline and a flirtatious bow at the waist. The striking colors, pink flowers on an orange background, contrasted with the queen’s careful tan and also combined with maxi-heeled pumps.

Doña Letizia has attended the conference given by Dr. Carlos López-Otín together with other personalities, such as the president of the Spanish Association Against Cancer, Ramón Reyes; Dr. Carlos López-Otín; and the president of the Spanish Association Against Cancer in Lleida, Sisco Maranges. The ‘Cancer Tour’ covers various parts of Spain with the aim of increasing the visibility and knowledge of the disease in society, in addition to transferring the free services offered by the Association to cancer patients and their families.

This has been the first appointment in his official agenda of the week but not the only one. On Friday, Letizia will travel to La Palma to inaugurate the school year in three different schools: Los Campitos, Todoque and María Milagros Acosta. One more gesture of support for the island, which is still suffering tremendous consequences from the eruption of the Cumbre Vieja volcano, and which the king and queen already visited in March, attending a tribute to the citizens and the State Security Forces and Corps, in addition to Civil Protection, firefighters, the Red Cross, scientists and volunteers who collaborated in helping the victims.
