The ‘mirroring’ effect in the white looks of Letizia and the first lady of Colombia: guipure and brocade

Reception with military honors from the kings Felipe VI and Letizia to the president of Colombia, Gustavo Petro, and his wife, Verónica Alcocer. It was this Wednesday, May 3, in the morning at the Royal Palace of Madrid. It is a state visit to deepen the bilateral relations of both countries.

Letizia and Verónica Alcocer have synchronized not only in white looks, but also in nude-toned shoes. A coincidence that in this type of scenario is known as mirroring effect (mirror) style. Both first ladies are dressed in the same color, which favors synchrony and empathy between them. Their looks differ by design, but coincide in brightness.

Doña Letizia shines (literally) with a tight dress in a sleeveless top, which wears a midi flared skirt. Guipure, delicate, fresh and subtle, reminds us that summer is already here, just around the corner. She has accompanied this wonder with a floral print bag from Furla, which she really likes.

Verónica Alcocer, extremely elegant, has opted for a V-neck dress, with a midi-length skirt. The sleeves, puffed up like a lantern, are the absolute protagonists of this romantic piece that has brocades and silver-colored drawings. Turning around, we have seen the large vertical opening of her back. A suggestive detail that also marks the arrival of summer.
