Real Madrid reported that both players suffered soleus injuries. In the case of the Austrian, the affected is the right, while the Frenchman’s ailment is in the left muscle. The two footballers are “pending developments”, according to the entity’s statement, after the tests carried out by the club’s medical services.

The French midfielder started in the last two games for the Whites, against Cacereño, in the Cup, and against Villarreal, in the League, when he was substituted after the hour of play. For his part, Alaba played the entire match against the ‘Yellow Submarine’.
