The leader Leganés comes back in Andorra and takes advantage of the day

MADRID, 14 Ene. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Leganés beat Andorra (2-3) this Sunday on matchday 22 of LaLiga Hypermotion to consolidate its leadership in a favorable weekend for the Madrid team, with the last favor, from Sporting de Gijón in its 0-0 against Huesca.

The 'pepinero' team regained victory after six days without winning and did so on an ideal day. The 'Lega' added the three points to escape in the lead with 42, after the ties of Racing de Ferrol (38), Sporting (36) and Espanyol (35).

Jandro and Iván Gil put the Andorran team ahead twice, but Leganés reacted, all in a second half that ended in stoppage time with a penalty in favor of the visitors. Diego García gave the victory to the leader, after Sergio González and Jorge Sáenz were diminishing the Andorran ambition.

In addition, the matchday left this Sunday a goalless draw between Sporting and Huesca. The Asturian team was closer to the goal, but the wood prevented El Molinón from being in the direct promotion zone. Meanwhile, the Huesca team left the relegation zone with the point.

On the other hand, Cartagena beat Villarreal B (4-1), despite starting from behind on the scoreboard, with a spectacular second half that helped them leave the bottom position. The 'submarine' reserve team remains one point above relegation.
