MADRID, 21 Mar. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The LaLiga Week against Racism ends this Monday, the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, after the initiative developed in collaboration with EA Sports FIFA 22 that has impacted millions of fans due to the activations in the LaLiga Santander matches of this weekend and, among others, on social networks.

The matches played on matchday 29 of the highest category have shown the world the label #TogethervsRacism, through the television U, messages posted on the field and special kits worn by the starting line-ups of each match.

The #TogetherVsRacism filter available on the LaLiga profile has reached thousands of people. The exclusive kit developed by LaLiga and EA SPORTS FIFA 22 has been present in the game since last Friday. The most ‘gamers’ have been able to join the initiative by selecting this kit for their matches and will be able to continue doing so until the end of the season.

The messages and stories released by clubs and players like Aubameyang (FC Barcelona); Borja Iglesias (Real Betis); Carlos Akapo (Cádiz CF) or Yannick Carrasco (Atlético de Madrid), among many others, have also made fans and spectators aware of the importance of eliminating racism among all.

The initiative is also added to other actions that LaLiga carries out throughout the year, such as the denunciation of violent and racist acts that occur on the pitches and the fact of appearing as a private prosecutor in each of these complaints.
