The Kings League, the global 7-a-side football phenomenon promoted by former footballer and businessman Gerard Piqué, announced this Thursday its arrival in Brazil in 2025, one more step in its global expansion process and adds to the recent launch of the Italian league and its first World Cup of Nations that will be held in the transalpine country from January 1 to 12, 2025.
The Kings League Brazil, which will become the fourth league in the Kings ecosystem, will be led by world football legends such as Ballon d’Or winner Kaká who will play the role of President or Neymar Jr and Vinicius as a team owner.
Top-line streamers and creators like Gaulês, Cris Guedes, Cerol & Nobru, Jon Vlogs, Paulinho or Loko & Luquet4, Oestagiario, Coringa, Nyvi Estephan, Ludmilla, KondZilla & Michel will also be part of the new competition as presidents.
Brazil will not only have its own national league, but will also participate in the first edition of the Kings World Cup of Nations along with 16 other teams from different countries. The event, which will be held in Italy in January 2025, has just added the United States, with the boxer and influencer Jake Paul at the helm, Germany, led by Mario Goetze, Turkey and South Korea, with the PSG player and former Valencia CF player Kang-In Lee, among others.
Since its inception, the Kings League has become one of the most followed digital sports competitions in the world. To date, more than 21 million people follow the competition through the different platforms and social networks of the format and the World Cup held in Mexico reached more than 200 million views in total, where only the final in Monterrey had more than 24 million views.
