This coming Monday afternoon, the First and Second Division calendar will be raffled. A draw that will be asymmetrical, like last season. In other words, the days of the first round do not correspond to those of the second. These are the key dates of the league season.
Beginning and end of the championship
The start of the championship will be September 12-13 and the end in First will be on May 23 and 30 in Second. The teams that have had to compete in August will be incorporated in a phased manner. Real Madrid and Getafe will do it on the second day (September 19). Barça, Atlético and Sevilla will do so in the third, on September 26. The promoted Cádiz, Huesca and Elche will also begin on September 26.
Soccer at Christmas
Finally, at the request of AFE, there will be no games on December 27, as LaLiga wanted. The First Team teams will compete on December 22 and will do so again on the 30th. In Second the break lasts until January 3, 2021.
Copa del Rey
The final will be on April 17 and that of last season indicates that it will be on 4 of that same month of April. The qualifying rounds will begin on November 11 and the first qualifying round on December 16.

The semifinals will be on February 10 and March 3. Like last year, all the qualifying rounds will be a single match except for the semifinals.
