The stars of this Saturday’s VIP wedding have been Ricardo Gomez-Acebo Botin y Monica Remartinezwho have said ‘yes, I want’ to their loved ones in the church of the Holy Spirit, in the Salamanca district of Madrid.
After the religious ceremony, the banquet took place at the Las Jarillas estate, in Colmenar Viejo. This place is closely related to the monarchy, since when it was owned by the Marquis de Urquijo, it became a boarding school for Don Juan Carlos.
The link of the son of Dove Booty O’Shea y Ricardo Gomez-AceboMarquis of Deleitosa and second cousin of the children of the Infanta Bourbon Pillar, brought together the entire clan of the banking family. Among the guests are his grandmother, Paloma O’Sheabanker’s widow emilio booty; Ana Botin, aunt of the groom and president of Banco Santander; and Carmen Booty.
Mónica, a Madrid lawyer and interior decorator, walked down the aisle in the company of her best man wearing a dazzling off-white dress with a flattering V-neckline that accentuated her shoulders. This is the second wedding for Ricardo, a graduate in Business Administration and Management, who was married to Ana María Cruz Ospina. Of course, that marriage broke up in less than a year.
