Rodolfo Sancho has returned to work after the murder of his son Edwin Arrieta in Thailand, whose sentence will be announced on August 29. The film is about a film director who is turned away by the industry and the actor has reflected on his own situation.

The actor, who participated in the documentary about his son’s case on HBO to pay for his defense and everything necessary in Thailand, laments at the same time: “I really can’t connect one thing with the other. Especially for someone like me who has not been very active in premieres and has never sold an exclusive. Everyone is free and I’m not going to mess with anyone. But there are actors who make a business out of their personal lives. That’s not my case.“, he admits, after participating in said documentary, in which he spoke about his personal life for money.
And adds: “It’s a very strange feeling. Suddenly, you have a problem, something is wrong with you, and everyone feels entitled to talk about you.It’s like in football, where everyone thinks they know and thinks they’re a coach. I wonder: if you decide to be an actor at 17, where is it written that from that moment on everyone can talk about your life? These months of ordeal have also been marked by personal battles between the parents of the accused, Rodolfo Sancho and Silvia Bronchalo. The latter even went so far as to denounce her ex for continued harassment and insults. A couple of weeks ago it was revealed that the complaint was dismissed.
