The ‘Hispanos’ clash with Germany and lose their ticket to the Olympic final

MADRID, 9 Ago. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Spanish men’s handball team lost (25-24) to Germany this Friday in search of the first Olympic final in its history, having to settle for fighting for bronze at the Paris 2024 Games.

The ‘Hispanos’ had it in their hands, leading on the scoreboard four minutes from the end and with the chance of going two up, but the German goalkeeper Andreas Wolff, who finished the semi-final with 22 saves, was the wall against which the Spanish dream crashed at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy in Lille.
