The 'Hispanics' will face Slovenia, Bahrain and Brazil in the Pre-Olympic

MADRID, 28 Ene. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Spanish men's handball team will face Slovenia, Bahrain and Brazil in the Pre-Olympic, which will be held from March 14 to 17 in a venue yet to be determined and in which the 'Hispanics' will seek a ticket for the Paris 2024 Games .

After the match for third place in the European Championship, in which Sweden beat Germany (34-31), the teams in the three Pre-Olympic groups have been defined.

Thus, Spain will face Slovenia, which climbs to the second row due to Egypt's victory in the African Championship – a result that allows it to go directly to Paris; to Bahrain, which enters the Olympic Qualifiers as second place in the Asian tournament; and Brazil, silver in the last Pan American Games.

In the Pre-Olympic, which will take place over three days, the two best teams will qualify after direct confrontations. The 'Hispanics' will look for a place in Paris to redeem themselves from what happened in the European Championship, where they did not advance beyond the preliminary round.

The other Pre-Olympic groups include Germany, Croatia, Algeria and Austria, on the one hand; and Norway, Hungary, Portugal and Tunisia, on the other.
